“Tredectet” is the first work I created with my students since the Covid-19 pandemic abruptly put and end to live production for over a year and a half. The work seeks to reacquaint us with proximity, care, and the alertness of performance. Created in collaboration with thirteen undergraduate students, the work takes hopeful steps toward composing life anew, after so much isolation, rupture, and grief.
