Coda

Coda is a 20-minute duet performed in silence. The physical material of the work draws from the three-year collaborative history between myself and dancers Katherine Kain and Sienna Jessurun. The initial proposal was to find wildness and disorientation in movement that was deeply “known.” Though the dancers refer back to known material, they are invited to trouble, undermine, and upset the logic that previously governed it.
