“Field,” created in collaboration with composer and colleague Peter Jones, is a dance work for five undergraduate dancers. Cycling through casual, formal, and athletic modes, images accumulate and dissolve– at once playful, persistent and exacting. Described by American College Dance Association adjudicators as “precise, architectural, and sophisticated,” the work was invited to perform in the Northeast Regional Gala at Montclair State University, and was selected as the regional alternate for the National Festival.
